Enable Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and DomainKeys in cPanel hosting account

Everybody needs to fight against SPAM nowadays. One of the very common tools used for this is Sender Policy Framework (SPF) hosting records. These records are available to web hosting users and help them to get their email authorized and sent through networks.

A lot of email providers like Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL and Gmail start using SPF records to help validation of the sender for all email messages. Combination of SPF record and DomainKeys is helping the web hosting customer and email provider to validate the domain name which is sending the email and helping fraud screening operated by some ISPs.

In case you are using external MX records for your email through another hosting server, you should contact your web hosting company or system administrator to enable SPF records for you. If you first enable them within you web hosting's cPanel this can break your email if it is not correctly setup with your external email server provider.

By default, all new hosting accounts on QHoster web hosting servers have SPF and DomainKeys enabled.

1. Log into you web hosting cPanel
