How to change the root server password in WHM?

  1. In order to do this you need to go for the Change Root Password that you can find under Server Configuration.
  2. You can also generate password randomly while using a button. If you want to do this manually then click on Cancel.
  3. Type the new password and confirm it and then click change password.
  4. Once the process is completed successfully you will be asked to log in back to the WHM. This will happen due to the expiration of the existing session. This is how you can change the root server password in WHM.
