How to specify the hostname and IP to use for each of your nameservers in WHM

How to specify the hostname and IP to use for each of your nameservers in WHM?

  1. In order to specify the hostname and IP to use for each of your nameservers in the WHM, you need to go for the Basic Panel or WHM setup.
  2. Scroll down and you will find the nameservers. Make sure that you have created the hosts for these nameservers and not the regular subdomains. Make sure that the domain name can use the nameservers correctly.
  3. Then enter the hostname for each nameserver and assign IP address for them.
  4. Once you confirm that the IP is correct, click on the Add Entry. Scroll down and click save to active the effects.
