How to use encrypted FTP connection or SFTP

To make an encrypted connection via SSL using FTP and SFTP, you need to contact us to activate SSH access to your web hosting account.

In this way the information passed to the server is encrypted and can’t be captured.

Change the port in your FTP client to 22022. It is also necessary to select the server type in your FTP client – “SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol:.

Note: SFTP access can only use cPanel/FTP account.
