If you have suspicions that the MySQL database is running slowly or appear errors, you need to optimize and/or repair the database. This can be done through your control panel cPanel ---> phpMyAdmin
Steps to optimize and repair MySQL database:
- Log into your web hosting control panel cPanel
- Select the button phpMyAdmin
- After login to phpMyAdmin, on the left you’ll see the list of established databases. Click the one you want to optimize or repair
- After selecting the database you’ll see all the tables on the right side. Select the “Check all” link and mark all tables
- From the drop-down menu select the Optimize table/Repair table
- Then the page should be loaded in the list of all tables and have the status OK
